Lindsey Vonn recently sat down for an interview with Sports Illustrated and, despite breaking up over two years ago, her ex-boyfriend Tiger Woods was brought up.
While the bulk of the interview was about her own comeback, her relationship with Tiger and his comeback were also brought up. As she has been every time in the past, Vonn was very complimentary of Woods.
“I loved him and we’re still friends. Sometimes, I wish he would have listened to me a little more, but he’s very stubborn and he likes to go his own way,” Vonn said. “I hope this latest comeback sticks. I hope he goes back to winning tournaments.”
Woods, who started his latest comeback at the Hero World Challenge in December will begin his 2018 at the end of the month at Torrey Pines at the Farmers Insurance Open.
