If by some chance you happened to be completely out of pocket for the last two days, you missed a horrific act of terrorist violence committed in my home state. I am deeply saddened by what happened in New Orleans. Watching the news felt surreal to me as I have stood on the corner of Canal and Bourbon streets more times than I care to share.
It is time for our new president to get to work and eradicate these individuals before such acts are committed.
