After a little less than two weeks back, the PGA Tour experienced their first positive COVID-19 test on Friday.
After waking up feeling less than 100% on Friday, Nick Watney underwent a coronavirus test, which came back positive. Per the new PGA Tour rules, he immediately withdrew and began his 10-day quarantine. Naturally, after the news of the positive test and subsequent withdrawal broke, it became the talk of the tournament. When asked about it over the next few days, many of the Tour shared their opinions.
Vaughn Taylor and Luke List, both who played with Watney on Thursday and were scheduled to play with him Friday, were the first to address the situation after their Friday rounds finished up:
Vaughn Taylor and Luke List. "I got the news at the turn," Taylor said. "So I was a little shocked, to be honest. Heart started racing, got a little nervous. Just hope Nick's doing well and we get through this.'' https://t.co/HPN7E5DTkd

From there, players continued to share their opinions on the entire situation:
I think just statistically and looking at the numbers, someone was going to get it, and even being as careful as you can be, things happen, and you pick it up from somewhere.-Rory McIlroy

No offense to Hilton Head, but they're seeming to not take it very seriously. It's an absolute zoo around here. There's people everywhere… beaches are absolutely packed. Every restaurant… is absolutely crowded..a lot of stuff going on around here.- Justin Thomas

The hottest of all the takes though clearly came from Sergio Garcia:
