While we don’t get to see every single shot hit live, the Masters has introduced a new feature this year that is pretty unbelievable.
On either Masters.com or the Masters app that is available for download in the iTunes store and Google Play store you can now see a 3D view of the hole as well as zoom in and out and rotate the hole around. What makes it even better is that you can watch every single shot from every single player on the course.
Here’s a video demonstration:
The only issue is the time it takes for videos to appear online. Some happen in a matter of minutes and some seem to take longer, but overall, this is exactly what we’ve all needed in our lives.
Golf Twitter notably freaked out once they saw the new design.
The Masters app really knocked it out of the park this year. https://t.co/3PQyN1oOva

What https://t.co/Vr1UIY3eQT is doing is incredible. You can see every shot hit by every player in the field seconds after it happens in real time. https://t.co/9iWV4NXpOO

I gotta be honest. I wasn't really feeling the Masters leading into today. Just something was off. But when I saw the new app and now the featured groups are live, welp, I'm back in.

Early reviews on being able to watch shots via Masters website and app are good. If you go to the leaderboard, click on a player, then click on the hole, it will show every shot he hit on the hole. #TheMasters

The Masters app allows you to watch every shot hit on every hole with the shot tracker and you might as well just cancel any plans you may have had for today. #themasters

Maybe this will finally silence the “lack of coverage” crowd. It’s out there. Just gotta click. https://t.co/QgTWEmjvVK
