Ian Poulter is definitely not one of America’s favorite golfers. He’s a Ryder Cup villain and openly embraces that role.

However, Poulter has finished in the top 10 in majors eight times in his career. His best finish at Augusta came in 2015 when he finished tied for sixth. Prior to the 2018 Houston Open, Poulter hadn’t won on the PGA Tour since the 2012 WGC-HSBC Champions.

This season, in eight events, Poulter has two top 10 finishes with a T3 at the WGC-Mexico Championship.

Even though his Masters results make him a risky bet to win, he’s definitely a guy to consider for a top 25 finish.
