Massive gator struts his way across a Georgia golf course

Living in South Louisiana, I’m used to seeing alligators. There are usually a couple that can be seen at my home course, so it’s really nothing new to me when one of these videos hits social media.

However, people seem to be fascinated by these creatures when they reach a certain size and then find their way onto a golf course.

That brings us to a story of a gator taking a stroll across the 17th green at the Savannah Harbor Club on Hutchison Island in Southeast Georgia.

“I will always remember the sound of his feet when he was walking on the green,” Vance told The Island Packet. “The video doesn’t pick it up, but the ‘thud, thud, thud’ sound was what you would think a dinosaur sounds like. It was surreal.”

Warning: This video does contain NSFW language

These guys generally don’t care what’s going on around them and are just looking for a nice place to sunbath or a path back to the water.

Still, it’s fun to watch them strut their stuff without a care in the world.
