Oh, Jason.
Jason Day withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Thursday after six holes citing a back injury. We detailed how this isn’t unusual from Day, but on Friday, something interesting happened.
Day was spotted at Disney World.

While that’s all good and well, Day spoke to Golf Channel’s Will Gray after pulling out of the event on Thursday and said he, “couldn’t really walk.”
Spoke to Jason Day after his WD. Said he practiced last week at Sawgrass but woke up Sunday and "couldn't really walk" because of back pain. MRI revealed annular tear in L4-L5 discs. Status for Players Champ TBD.

We have no evidence that Day went on any rides at Disney World, however, it’s hard to imagine that stomping around a theme park is just what the doctor ordered.
