Before we get going with picks, let us take a moment to honor the 10 year anniversary of Anthony Kim getting his first Tour win at the 2008 Wells Fargo.
Now, on to who we like this week.
D Money
Of course, any time Tiger tees it up I want him to win. The point of this is to pick who I THINK will win, not who I WANT to win. With that being said, for my pick this week I will go with Justin Thomas. Take last week’s MC at the Zurich out of it and since the calender turned to 2018, JT hasn’t finished worse than T17 at a full-field event. Sure, the only pick that I have gotten right this year was his win at the Honda but that’s not why I am picking him. His game appears to be about as good as one could ask for and I think as a result he notches his 3rd win of the 2017-2018 season.
The Stiff Shaft
Tiger will go back-to-back again this week on the PGA Tour schedule. We’ll see how it works out for him ahead of the Players.
Tiger Woods is currently the only player on the PGA Tour ranked in the top-10 in both strokes gained around the green and strokes gained putting.

(sidenote…we’ll be at the Players all week so make sure you stay tuned to the site and Instagram account)
Like D Money, I’m going to take the guy who won a major championship here last year. Justin Thomas already has two wins this season as well as two other top five finishes. He’s proved he can win at Quail Hallow and currently ranks 5th in strokes gained tee-to-green and 3rd in strokes gained total. He’s a beast right now and has risen from 14th in the world rankings after the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in 2017 to 2nd behind Dustin Johnson.
JT it is this week!
