WMPO Streaker: ‘It Was Worth It’

WMPO

By now you have all seen this video of a guy streaking across the 17th fairway last Wednesday at the WMPO. Well, thanks to a local news outlet in Pheonix we now know who this guy was and why he did it.

Adam Stalmach was the streaker and, in an interview with AzFamily.com, he said that as a result of his streaking he spent 5 days in jail, lost his job as a local bartender, and was fined $1500. Stlmach said that despite feeling “embarrassed” and “regretful”, it was all worth it.

“Yeah, it was worth it,” he said. “As long as people got a kick out of it, it was worth it.”

As for what he was on when he decided to take all his clothes? Well, he said he had some liquid encouragement that included everything from “Coors Light to regular Coors to chardonnay.”

Arizona authorities were reportedly considering felony charges and a requirement for Stalmach to register as a sex offender if a child under the age of 15 was identified in the crowd but ultimately allowed him to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure.
