The “silly season” of golf is underway. What is the “silly season”? Well, it’s when there are no actual tournaments so we’re forced to watch tournaments that aren’t just regular stroke play.
Enter the PNC Father/Son Challenge. The event took place last week with Angel Cabrera and his son, Angel Cabrera Jr., taking home the W.
The interesting part is that Golf Channel PR tweeted out that this was the most-watched PNC Father/Son Challenge in 10+ years.
VIEWERSHIP: Weekend coverage @PNCFatherSon on @NBC posted

Maybe people are just dying to watch some golf?
