The Saudi Public Investment Fund is still entangled with the PGA Tour in what seems to be a battle of who will be in charge. The PGA Tour believes they will be while the Saudis pony up the money. Who do you think will come out on top?
Anyway, Barstool’s Fore Play shared the following on X:
The Saudi PIF has reportedly begun exploring a LIV-DP World Tour merger separate from their ongoing talks with the PGA Tour.
This would create a “shared schedule” and allow golfers to play in events for either league.

This is interesting because you’d have players like Rory with a possible entry into LIV events and guys like Rahm who would be able to play in DP World Tour events.
As Hank Haney points out, this feels like the PGA Tour stalling and the DP World Tour jumping at a chance to improve their reach and status.
This seems like a case of you snooze you lose. https://t.co/Zs3zyBLZ3u

Sure, for a lot of you combining the DP World Tour with LIV wouldn’t mean anything, but for the actual golf world it would put the Tours on the same level as the PGA Tour with the four majors standing separately.
