Ok, look, I don’t want to sound like a preacher here but if you guys keep fueling this fire he is going to make everyone regret it.
Brandel did it prior to the PGA Championship and now Fox, for some odd reason decided not to include not only the defending champion, but the winner of the last TWO U.S. Opens in a promo they ran. Did they think this would get past Brooks?
During his presser on Tuesday, Koepka addressed the ridiculous mistake:
“We’re amazed that I wasn’t in it.
“Just kind of shocked. They’ve had over a year to put it out. So I don’t know. Somebody probably got fired over it … or should.
“There’s a couple of things where it’s just mind-boggling – it’s, like, really? How do you forget that? It doesn’t make sense to me.”
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING FOX? YOU’VE NOT ONLY POKED THE BEAST, BUT YOU’VE ANGERED IT!
I’m now going to assume Koepka wins by 30 and everyone else quits after 54 holes.
Brooks has gotten some respect on site.
And, as always, Brooks couldn’t resist taking a shot at Brandel for that PGA Championship doubt.
“At night when we’re done we’ll flip on the Golf Channel for a little bit and see what they’re talking about at the end of the day, what Frank [Nobilo] and David [Duval] and Rich [Lerner] are talking about.”
Who could blame him?
