Jordan Spieth Shoots Front 9 42, Falls Out Of Contention

It’s no secret Jordan Spieth has been struggling on the golf course. The man who was an assasin with a putter suddenly couldn’t buy one. The last few days have been different though.

With the Masters around the corner and playing in from of his home state fans, Spieth shot back-to-back 68s on the first two days to find himself just one shot off the lead heading into the weekend.

Then Saturday happened…

Spieth opened his third round with a front 9 42, immediately spiraling out of contention. His opening nine included two double bogeys, two bogeys, and five pars.

Spieth now finds himself in danger of missing the secondary cut. While he’s moving the wrong way, they don’t call Saturday Moving Day for nothing.

Note: As of this writing Spieth was 2-under through 10 and T54.
