Billy Horschel Lets Out Frustration During 2nd Round 77

Billy Horschel

Billy Horschel shot a 5-over 77 in the second round of the Valero Texas Open on Friday and was clearly not happy with his performance on the course.

The trouble for Horschel began on the 18th hole (his 9th of the day). Fresh off a bogey on 16, Horschel hit his tee shot on the par 5 18th into the middle of the fairway. He hit a bad second shot and clearly let it be known to everyone that he wasn’t happy about it (warning: some potential NSFW language).

Not only was Horschel not happy with that shot, but he went on to bogey the hole.

At +2 for the tournament making the turn, Horschel either didn’t think much of his game anymore or he just slipped into DGAF mode as he proceeded to play at least the next several holes with his hat backwards:

While golfers yelling at themselves after hitting a bad shot is nothing new, it’s not every day a golfer shows his frustration by proceeding to play with his hat backwards when it’s not raining. I’m sure that there will be more than one person within the golf community that won’t be too happy with Horschel’s actions.
