Jason Day has withdrawn from yet another tournament, this week it’s the Arnold Palmer Invitational

In a story that we’re all becoming extremely familiar with, Jason Day has withdrawn from another event. Day pulled out of the Arnold Palmer Invitational after six holes citing a back injury.

It’s just one of many WD’s we’ve seen from Day over the years. In fact, I had to actually look into just how many times Day has withdrawn from events citing some sort of injury or life event (not that I blame him for those) because he has finished T5 and T4 in his last two starts.

So, without further ado, here are all of the tweets from the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Communication that state that Day has withdrawn from an event in reverse chronological order!

This one is understandable!

And then I went back through all of his PGA Tour and Web.com results to make sure I had the full amount as well as Day’s reason for withdrawing …

Of course, there will be people who moan and complain and say, “Well Tiger has had his fair share of injuries and missed two seasons because of them,” and while that’s true, Woods has also played 12 more years on the PGA Tour and won quite a few more tournaments.

And … if you want to get down to it, both Day and Woods have withdrawn from the same number of events (excluding 2016-2017 seasons for Tiger).

So, the obvious thing here is that Jason Day needs to have his back fused together and then he will likely go on to win another *sarcasm font* 40 tournaments.
