Programming Note: This week’s event is Friday-Monday because of the holiday weekend.
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get right into who we like at this week’s second playoff event:
DMoney
I was all ready to take Rickie this week, but he is still nursing that oblique injury and is going to take another week off. So, I’ll go ahead and put my money behind another guy who took last week off and that’s Rory Mcllroy. Now, you might be thinking “But Rory has had a terrible season DMoney, why would you pick him?” Well, it’s simple. A guy with the talent that Rory has can’t stay bad forever. He’s taken some time off, reflected on his game, and I think he comes back and makes a statement with a playoff win this week.

After last weeks depressing outcome, I’m glad we’re moving on.
This week I’ll go with the guy who won at TPC Boston last year. He’s already won three times this season and once this month.

Obviously, Thomas has played well this season, but it should be noted that he ranks 3rd in strokes gained on approach to the gree, 2nd in strokes gained tee-to-green, and 2nd in strokes gained total.
Those are some pretty telling stats.
