And with that, on to who we like this week.
My pick this week is Sergio Garcia. Now, the last time we saw Sergio he was going full-blown Tin Cup on the 15th at Augusta. While something like that could leave enough scar tissue to stick with someone like you or me for the rest of our lives on this earth, this is Sergio we are talking about here. Before his breakthrough win at the Masters last year, his entire career has been highlighted with disappointing moments. All the more reason for him to turn it around in his first start post Masters blunder. Plus, he’s an honorary Texan now. So he’s got that going for him, which is nice.
The Stiff Shaft
Does this tournament have the worst position on the PGA Tour schedule? I think so. Two weeks after the Masters and a few weeks out from the Players … zzzzzzzzzz.
While TPC San Antonio is a nice track, I just can’t get excited about this event … even if Submergio is playing in it.
Anyways, enough complaining.
