Patrick Reed throws some shade at Jordan Spieth during the Arnold Palmer Invitational

Patrick Reed sort of threw some shade at his Ryder Cup compadre Jordan Spieth, who was not playing last weekend, on Sunday during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Reed’s ball came to rest next to a tree/bush and what appear to be some cables holding up a TV tower. After consulting with a Tour official, it was determined that he would not get relief, prompting Reed to say, “I guess my name has to be Jordan Spieth guys.”

Thank God the PGA Tour is now allowing fans to film with their phones so we get videos like this, otherwise, we’d never know.

Reed eventually said he wanted a third opinion from an “unbiased source.”

No word on whether or not he got a chance to talk to an unbiased source.
