BMW Championship Picks

Two down, two to go in these FedEx Cup Playoffs. Bryson has swept the playoffs so far, but it’s still anyone’s game as we head to Philadelphia this week and the BMW Championship. Here is who we like this week:

I was going to take Rickie Fowler last week, but he decided to take another week off. So, I will go ahead and take Rickie this week. While many guys have been playing for essentially a month straight, Big Rick is well rested coming off that oblique injury. I think that rest, albeit to recover from an injury, is the difference maker this week and he takes the title.

I can’t possibly expect Bryson DeChambeau to lock up the FedExCup for good with a win this week, so I’ll go with another guy who has yet to win the FEC but has had success at Aronimink Golf Club.

Dustin Johnson is one of the few guys who can now take the FedExCup title away from DeChambeau, who after winning the first two events, has a lead so large that no matter the outcome this week, he will enter the TOUR Championship in 1st overall in FEC points. Johnson won this event in 2010 and again in 2016. With a win this week, he could decrease DeChambeau’s lead. Who knows by how much though as I don’t expect Bryson to fall off the face of the earth this week.
